Responsibilities
- Own Checkout-specific backend capabilities that power funding flows end to end.
- Design and build integration patterns for external providers to create a consistent Checkout experience.
- Define and maintain backend contracts between Checkout UI and provider systems.
- Drive cross-functional technical discovery to ensure architectural alignment.
- Implement frontend work when necessary to align UI states with backend contracts.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with expert proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Full-stack ability to work across API contracts and UI states using React and TypeScript.
- Proven experience integrating external APIs with a focus on async flows and recovery.
- Working-level knowledge of Web3 concepts and products.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate multiple teams and codebases.
