Base Salary
$140k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide prospects and customers through technical evaluation, architecture, implementation considerations, and production adoption of Temporal.
- Build application prototypes and provide design, development, build, and deployment guidance using supported programming languages.
- Advise customers on distributed systems, application patterns, platform architecture, security, reliability, performance, cost management, and operations.
- Partner with Account Executives and Platform Architects on account plans for new opportunities and expansion.
- Serve as a strategic technical advisor to Sales Account Executives by scoping opportunities, identifying technical risks, and navigating complex evaluations.
- Present, whiteboard, and write technical concepts for customers and prospects.
Requirements
- Exceptional technical communication skills, including presenting, whiteboarding, and writing.
- Deep understanding of distributed system technologies, design principles, and best practices.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider and commonly used application, infrastructure, and production services.
- Ability to guide customers through complex architectural decisions and serve as a strategic technical advisor to sales teams.
- Residence within the United States Pacific time zone, with preference for the San Francisco Bay Area or Seattle Area.
