Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain systems and tools for Payments reliability.
Identify and drive improvements to increase Payments availability and observability.
Develop observability standards for new product readiness.
Build domain expertise in Payments processing and compliance.
Drive large scale migration projects on observability and reliability.
Lead initiatives to improve incident management and instrumentation.
Evaluate new technologies for observability and reliability initiatives.
Fix root-causes identified from monitoring platforms.

7+ years of experience in back-end software development.
BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong skills in Java, Python, Kotlin, Scala, or Ruby on Rails.
Experience with AI agents and systems powered by Large Language Models is a plus.
Familiarity with architectural patterns of high-scale web applications.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
Deep understanding of software development best practices.
Experience in incident management and root cause analysis.
Effective leadership and communication skills.
Experience with auto-scaling, self-healing mechanisms, and chaos engineering is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and experience with on-call production systems.
