Responsibilities
- Build high-performing, fast, testable, scalable, and high-quality frontend code.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user needs and iterate on solutions.
- Contribute to code reviews and documentation and handle complex bug fixes.
- Lead projects from technical design and implementation through launch and operation.
- Onboard and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, AngularJS, or Vue.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in computer science, or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of the modern frontend ecosystem, including bundling, linting, testing, and releasing.
- Experience with modern testing frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, Mocha, or Chai.
- Experience building frontend applications at scale and engineering medium-to-large software systems.
- Experience mentoring more junior engineers.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
