Responsibilities
- Deliver new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for the algorithmic trading platform.
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, including technical analysis, design, data analysis and mapping, development, and testing.
- Provide occasional level 2 and level 3 support for front-office applications.
- Work with business and development teams to coordinate priorities and project progress.
- Help manage implementation of new systems or system upgrades when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with functional architecture strategy and company development standards.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing algorithmic trading systems for equity markets.
- Hands-on experience coding and developing algorithmic trading systems in Java.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work professionally and collaboratively across departments, countries, and regions.
- Self-direction, initiative, prioritization, and strong self-management skills.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD automation, distributed systems, message-oriented architecture, and event-driven systems.
- Preferred knowledge of financial markets, local market characteristics, networks, TCP/IP, and enterprise messaging solutions.
