Base Salary
$185k - $327k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate balance and transaction systems of record.
- Develop settlement orchestration for account holder payments.
- Create self-serve ledgering APIs for quick integration.
- Emit reliable balance and settlement data for finance teams.
- Implement high-volume distributed transaction-processing systems.
- Drive convergence across financial services with consistent models.
- Operate financial systems against published SLOs.
- Use AI tools throughout the development lifecycle.
- Lead complex projects and mentor other engineers.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to ship new capabilities.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in designing and operating distributed, high-throughput services.
- Background in building money-movement systems or a strong desire to learn.
- Proficiency in at least one major programming language and strong SQL skills.
- Experience leading complex projects across multiple engineering teams.
- High standards for software architecture and engineering practices.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to enhance software development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
