Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, document, and troubleshoot Java-based full-stack applications throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Develop backend services, APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build frontend user interfaces using React, HTML5, and CSS, and contribute to both front-end and back-end components.
- Develop and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical leadership, and Agile/Scrum teams to deliver sprint goals and establish technical standards.
- Analyze complex coding, application performance, design, development, and production issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement resolutions.
- Optimize and automate recurring architecture, build, delivery, production operations, and business processes.
- Use AI development tools, including GitHub Copilot, and propose innovative AI-enabled product approaches.
- Communicate progress, manage escalations, and identify, track, and mitigate technical and delivery risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of software development experience specializing in Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures, object-oriented principles, service-oriented and microservices architectures, and event-driven services.
- Demonstrated full-stack development experience across robust web applications, including JavaScript, React, HTML5, CSS, Java, Python, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs and working with relational database systems, particularly Oracle.
- Experience with cloud-native application development, CI/CD pipelines, build tools such as Maven and Gradle, and deployment tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
- Experience with AWS is an advantage.
- Experience with Agile development, Scrum processes, JIRA, automated testing, and GitHub Enterprise.
- Practical experience using AI tools to improve development workflows and awareness of the evolving AI landscape.
- Strong troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, communication, risk-management, and technical problem-solving skills.
