Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, enhance, and evaluate Pega-based software applications and enterprise-scale workflows.
  • Construct application modules, develop testing methods, prepare technical specifications and application designs, and estimate feature changes.
  • Provide technical support for production systems, resolve reported issues, anticipate maintenance needs, and support end-user functionality.
  • Develop and debug Pega rules, including Data Transforms, declarative rules, class structures, and application frameworks.
  • Integrate Pega with enterprise applications and collaborate with business, technology, management, and development stakeholders.
  • Participate in the software development life cycle and provide 24/7 on-call support for critical production issues.
  • Provide technical guidance, communicate solutions, and effectively oversee distributed development team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in software application development and maintenance.
  • At least 3 years of in-depth hands-on application development experience with Pega PRPC v6.x/v7.x and Pega banking or insurance frameworks.
  • Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) certification.
  • Experience with Pega AI, including GenAI, Knowledge Buddy, Agentic AI, and AI-powered workflow capabilities.
  • Experience with Pega Infinity architecture, Case Management, Decisioning, and BPM.
  • Experience integrating Pega with enterprise applications using REST APIs, Kafka, JMS, SOAP, and microservices.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, JSP, J2EE, XML, and EJB, plus web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
  • Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies, with ability to debug and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Preferred experience in banking and finance, Okta, SQL scripting, ServiceNow or other IT ticketing systems, and Splunk.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, estimation, and technical decision-making skills.
