Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain websites, portals, and content-management solutions using Adobe Experience Manager.
- Develop reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, workflows, Sling Models, and OSGi services.
- Implement responsive digital experiences based on UI/UX specifications.
- Develop and maintain integrations between AEM and external enterprise systems using REST APIs.
- Create and manage Content Fragments and Experience Fragments and support efficient authoring experiences.
- Optimize application performance, caching, content delivery, and overall user experience.
- Troubleshoot AEM application, integration, deployment, and production issues.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and solution planning.
- Support deployments across development, QA, UAT, staging, and production environments.
- Maintain technical documentation for components, integrations, configurations, and development standards.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant software development experience; the posting also cites 5+ years of software/web development experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on Adobe Experience Manager development experience, including AEM Sites, components, templates, editable templates, dialogs, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
- Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, Servlets, Services, Schedulers, and OSGi configurations.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Experience integrating AEM with REST APIs and third-party or external systems.
- Experience with Git, debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and standard development practices.
- Good-to-have experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, Adobe Cloud Manager, AEM Dispatcher, caching, CDN concepts, headless AEM, GraphQL APIs, Adobe Experience Cloud, React, or Angular.
- Knowledge of AEM security, permissions, users, groups, automated testing, and code-quality tools is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
