Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and develop distributed software systems for ground station network operations and core infrastructure services.
- Test and integrate software running on commercial and internally developed hardware.
- Perform post-mission analytics, evaluate network performance, identify optimization opportunities, and recommend improvements.
- Architect secure, high-performance software interfaces for TT&C systems and payload data transfer workflows with external customers.
- Create APIs and interface documentation for ground station command and control.
- Develop interactive web dashboards with real-time visualization capabilities.
- Design and implement integration frameworks for third-party ground stations and external customer systems.
- Build automated workflow engines for routine operations, anomaly response, and autonomous sequences.
- Establish monitoring systems with configurable alerts for network stability and operational visibility.
- Collaborate with software, networking, and RF/DSP engineers to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Python, C++, or Rust.
- At least 5 years of experience working in Linux environments.
- Experience developing, testing, and maintaining production-quality software.
- Experience automating software testing and operational features.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, resourcefulness, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to support end-to-end customer testing for internal programs and external clients.
- U.S. citizenship or nationality, U.S. permanent residency, refugee status, or asylum status is required.
- Preferred: JavaScript and backend or full-stack application development experience.
- Preferred: At least 5 years of ground station or communications system operations experience.
- Preferred: AWS cloud infrastructure, API integration, TCP and UDP, Ansible, monitoring and observability, RF and modulation concepts, and networking concepts.
- Preferred: Experience with generative AI tools, AI-based State of Health diagnosis, OSS/BSS integrations, Salesforce, CRM process automation, and mission planning and operations systems.
