Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements, functional specifications, and technical designs to create test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.
- Design, develop, maintain, and improve scalable automated testing frameworks and coverage.
- Write and execute automated tests using Python, Robot Framework, Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and improve testing efficiency.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, UI/UX, API, and backend testing.
- Identify, document, track, and report defects using JIRA and Bugzilla.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Establish QA standards and processes, conduct root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and provide quality insights and risk assessments.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience.
- Strong experience with automation tools including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Robot Framework.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman and RestAssured.
- Familiarity with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, test frameworks including TestNG, JUnit, and Mocha, and version control with Git.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, detailed test case creation, and defect tracking and reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of security testing and vulnerability assessment is desirable.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is desirable.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.
