Base Salary
$128k - $201k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and evangelize a self-service Internal Developer Platform for provisioning compliant infrastructure.
- Design resilient multi-region AWS and Azure cloud architectures supporting HIPAA, GDPR, and ISO 13485 requirements.
- Develop reusable Terraform or Pulumi modules with security and logging built in by default.
- Improve developer experience by auditing pipeline friction and automating solutions.
- Integrate Compliance as Code checks and immutable audit trails for FDA and MDR submissions.
- Lead FinOps initiatives to optimize cloud spending and design for high availability and low latency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to DevOps engineers.
- Collaborate with IT, Security, and Development teams and maintain thorough technical documentation.
- Evaluate new technologies and drive continuous improvement across the DevOps environment.
- Travel to Hologic offices, training events, conferences, and customer sites as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 6 years of experience with Azure, GCP, or AWS, focused on IAM, VPC networking, and managed services such as EKS, RDS, and Lambda.
- Deep Kubernetes expertise, including cluster design, troubleshooting, and container security.
- Advanced proficiency with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Configuration management and infrastructure-as-code experience with Ansible and Terraform.
- Practical experience implementing Zero Trust architectures and managing secrets with HashiCorp Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed applications and complex data ingestion workflows at scale.
- Ability to understand code in C#, C++, Python, and Java and build CLI applications using Python or similar languages.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, autonomous execution, systems thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Relevant DevOps, cloud, and security certifications, such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, CISSP, or CCSP, are strongly preferred.
