Base Salary
$80k - $92k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with developers, contract and offshore engineers, QA, and business product owners to deliver software solutions.
- Refine stories, write code and test cases, test and deploy applications, and document solutions.
- Evaluate solution options for business fit, scalability, security, performance, and cost.
- Use third-party frameworks, open-source libraries, and APIs to develop application solutions.
- Support production applications, troubleshoot issues, and participate in problem resolution.
- Present technical concepts and project updates to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Recommend opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
- At least one year of software development experience using Java, Python, and AWS.
- At least one year of cloud-based application development, deployment, and support experience.
- At least one year of experience with application integration, microservices, and REST-based service development.
- Proficiency in database design techniques and philosophies.
- Knowledge of distributed computing, scalable application architecture, software development tools, and research tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical communication, teamwork, independence, prioritization, and customer-focus skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with application development, platform transformation, enterprise platforms, AI-assisted software engineering tools, modern development practices, and regulated industries.
- Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Java, or equivalent are preferred.
