Base Salary
$125k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain in-house branches of Linux, Buildroot, and U-Boot.
- Design and implement platform security features including secure boot and runtime integrity.
- Support platform-specific test infrastructure.
- Own device drivers and board-level firmware for in-house and vendor components.
- Define and maintain interfaces between platform and userspace or mission software.
- Collaborate with electrical, FPGA, and application software teams from board prototyping through on-orbit operations.
- Own platform software across development, testing, and on-orbit support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a scientific discipline, or 2+ years of professional software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- System-level development experience in C, C++, or Rust.
- Experience with Linux kernel development is preferred.
- Experience with computer architecture and modern secure boot flows is preferred.
- Experience with ARM and/or FPGA SoC embedded systems is preferred.
- Experience with testing, continuous integration, build, deployment, and continuous monitoring is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance.
- Must successfully obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance as a condition of employment.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.

- Base salary ranges from $125,000 to $195,000 depending on level and qualifications.
