Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C/C++ for Embedded Linux and Real-Time Operating System environments.
- Solve design challenges involving algorithms, hardware and firmware interfaces, and IoT protocols.
- Participate in and lead design reviews for embedded systems, simulations, and algorithms.
- Define system requirements and deliver interoperability, health monitoring, diagnostics, and self-healing automation features.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and operations.
- Conduct experiments, build prototypes, and debug hardware-software interactions.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, product and program teams, and external engineering partners.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- Experience contributing to architecture and design of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: experience developing embedded software in C/C++.
- Preferred: experience with AI/ML technologies.
