Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud solutions across hybrid-cloud environments.
- Improve cloud governance, security, operating models, and infrastructure efficiency.
- Provision, configure, upgrade, and monitor Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, and distributed database technologies.
- Automate infrastructure management and development pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab.
- Monitor systems, clusters, and cloud deployments for errors and performance issues.
- Lead technical initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles.
- Deep production experience deploying, operating, and scaling Kubernetes, including on-premise clusters and Amazon EKS.
- Strong expertise designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure; GCP experience is preferred.
- Advanced Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience, including reusable modules, state management, and platform automation.
- Experience building and operating highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-native platforms.
- Strong knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong Linux systems administration and distributed-production troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency with Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
- Experience with Amazon RDS, Aurora, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams.
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changing market conditions and solve math and coding problems.
