Responsibilities
- Develop tools and capabilities extending Lattice OS for cyber asset command and control, offensive cyber mission planning and execution, networking, and remote asset management in far-edge environments.
- Collaborate with customers, product designers, and engineering teams to shape and build software products and applications.
- Build, test, deploy, and demonstrate mission-critical code with end users in a tight feedback loop.
- Contribute reusable software components across Anduril’s product lines.
- Travel up to 25% to participate in customer events and deploy capabilities in real-world scenarios.
- Provide technical direction and exercise leadership across technical teams.
Requirements
- Strong engineering background from industry or school, ideally in computer science, software engineering, mathematics, or physics.
- 7+ years of experience working with programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, and JavaScript.
- Experience building software solutions involving significant data processing and analysis.
- Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases quickly.
- Experience making impactful technical architecture decisions, evaluating tradeoffs, and engaging in engineering discussions with peers.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance that can be maintained.
- Preferred experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments.
- Preferred experience with feature and algorithm development and behavior trees.
- Preferred knowledge of distributed communication networks, message standards, military systems, and operational tactics.
- Preferred experience mentoring junior engineers and architecting complex systems.
