Security Product Engineer

Responsibilities
- Embed with enterprise customers to deploy depthfirst’s security AI agents into production environments.
- Build trusted relationships with customer security teams and understand their challenges.
- Build custom integrations, data pipelines, and workflows connecting depthfirst with existing security tools.
- Translate recurring deployment patterns into generalized platform capabilities in partnership with the product team.
- Communicate technical solutions to stakeholders ranging from security engineers to CISOs.
- Own technical delivery from scoping through implementation and optimization.
- Travel to customer sites as needed to support successful outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience or relevant expertise.
- Experience in application security, penetration testing, or security research.
- Experience with security tooling, vulnerability management, or security-focused engineering.
- Experience translating customer needs into product capabilities and collaborating with product teams to generalize solutions.
- Proficiency in Python and experience building integrations and data pipelines.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer collaboration skills.
- Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco.
- Preferred experience includes LLMs, AI agents, AI platforms, enterprise security infrastructure such as SIEM and SOAR, solutions engineering, security engineering, forward deployed engineering, open source contributions, or work with large codebases.
