Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain comprehensive QA test suites for the Casualty Catastrophe Model.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and customer success analysts to understand workflows, use cases, and requirements.
- Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Partner with developers to implement automated test scripts and maintain automation frameworks.
- Execute manual and automated testing, especially REST API, system-level, and complex data-driven workflow testing.
- Validate algorithms and analytical outputs for accuracy and document analytical work in Python Jupyter notebooks or R Markdown.
- Participate in cross-functional Agile Scrum teams and apply automated testing practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Engage stakeholders to clarify requirements, assumptions, and quality expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field such as data science, engineering, science, mathematics, finance, or economics.
- 5–7 years of related work experience.
- Significant experience developing or testing cloud-native UI and API products, including REST/gRPC, web applications, and cloud-testing environments.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and demonstrated experience building test strategies.
- Experience or familiarity with Cypress, Playwright, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, HTML, JSON, XML, YAML, and the AWS ecosystem.
- Strong problem-solving ability and interest in understanding product usage, edge cases, and underlying assumptions.
