Base Salary

$117k - $176k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop company-specific AI platform features beyond the capabilities of cloud platforms and vendor tools.
  • Research, experiment with, and implement GenAI algorithms, tools, and technologies.
  • Explore and apply AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure services for GenAI and ML workloads.
  • Enhance platform functionality across AI, ML, agentic frameworks, and modern data technologies.
  • Develop and promote AI, ML, and data engineering best practices across teams.
  • Architect and design end-to-end solutions at the component level.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Data, Data Science, Business, Cloud Enablement, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
  • Manage engineering execution and optimize workflows with minimal guidance.
  • Provide technical mentorship and career growth support to team members.
  • Review systems-level engineering work against project and business expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience building and shipping enterprise software and/or platform solutions.
  • Preferred programming experience with Python.
  • 3+ years of experience with Terraform.
  • Proven Google Cloud Platform experience, including GCP BigQuery, Cloud Functions, AI Platform, API Gateway, and GKE/Docker.
  • Experience with AWS or other cloud providers is a plus.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and deployments, unit testing, and integration testing tools.
  • Experience building scalable real-time and batch serverless applications using cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of distributed NoSQL databases, data engineering, and ETL technology.
  • Preferred experience with conversational UX/UI, chatbots, and Human-Agent-Interaction.
  • Experience with information retrieval, vector embeddings, hybrid or semantic search, vector stores, ANN/KNN, and database optimization.
  • Preferred knowledge of RAG customization, model fine-tuning, retrieval re-ranking, HNSW, and product quantization.
  • Preferred experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, LangSmith, LangGraph, or Google Agent Development Kit.
  • Preferred experience with generative AI guardrails, responsible AI, adversarial attack mitigation, and red teaming.
  • Foundational understanding of Natural Language Processing and Deep Learning.
  • Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

  • Hybrid or remote work arrangement; candidates near an office are expected to work onsite Tuesday through Thursday, while remote candidates may need to visit an office as business needs arise.
