Responsibilities

  • Build production React screens end to end, including data services, Redux state management, UI components, and automated tests.
  • Create responsive layouts using MUI X DataGrid, Trimble Maps SDK, and the shared design system.
  • Integrate CloudHub, OData, CHC, and customer SQL data services and create backend-connected services for feature parity with the legacy application.
  • Develop drag-and-drop planning interfaces, real-time map synchronization, threshold-based alerts, inline validation, keyboard navigation, accessibility features, loading states, and actionable error states.
  • Optimize data-heavy grids using server-side pagination and column virtualization.
  • Ship tested, functional software weekly and participate in demos, pull-request reviews, accessibility checks, and test coverage improvements.
  • Use Cursor and AI coding assistants for development, test scaffolding, and refactoring.
  • Contribute to shared development patterns and the evolving component library.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of production experience building React applications with TypeScript.
  • Strong experience designing composable, testable components with clean prop contracts and appropriate state management.
  • Experience with grids, tables, filters, server-side pagination, real-time updates, and other data-heavy user interfaces.
  • Experience integrating REST or OData APIs and debugging complete frontend-to-backend request and response flows.
  • Proficiency with CSS and responsive layouts, design system integration, and consistent cross-browser rendering.
  • Fluency with Git workflows, trunk-based development, feature branches, clean commit history, and pull-request reviews.
  • Ability to collaborate in a pair-squad model and ship working software weekly.
  • Experience with drag-and-drop implementations such as dnd-kit or react-beautiful-dnd is preferred.
  • Experience using Cursor or other AI coding assistants is preferred.
  • Familiarity with MUI and theming is preferred.
  • Experience modernizing legacy desktop applications into browser-based UIs is preferred.
  • Background with .NET/C# and OData APIs is helpful.
  • Logistics, transportation, or energy industry knowledge is helpful.
