Responsibilities
- Design evaluation boards and radio hardware.
- Verify hardware and software products against device- and system-level requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve embedded firmware, hardware, equipment, and software issues.
- Work with customers and internal teams to define device-level requirements and perform system tradeoff analyses.
- Develop and debug software projects and software tests for firmware verification.
- Use and automate laboratory test equipment.
- Support quality teams with failure analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 10 years of directly related experience, or a master's degree with 8 years of directly related experience.
- Strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals and methodologies.
- Experience debugging hardware, software, and complicated software projects.
- Experience developing software tests for firmware verification.
- Experience with object-oriented programming, including Python.
- Experience with schematic and layout tools.
- Strong written, verbal, collaboration, and customer communication skills.
- Experience using and automating laboratory test equipment is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with DSP concepts is a plus.
