Responsibilities
- Design, code, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot scalable software solutions using Go, Java, and other modern or object-oriented languages.
- Develop and execute automated API and UI test scenarios and strategies.
- Work with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Helm.
- Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, code reviews, and mentoring of junior engineers.
- Collaborate with product management, architecture, and global cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to technical migrations, performance improvements, security improvements, and root cause analyses.
Requirements
- Go programming experience is required.
- At least 8 years of software development and testing experience, including at least 3 years with cloud-native or SaaS applications.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required; a master's degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with REST APIs, RDBMS or NoSQL databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated testing is required or expected.
- Experience with API test automation and UI testing using Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, Pulsar, SNS/SQS, front-end technologies such as React or Angular, and machine learning is beneficial.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, problem-solving, and technical collaboration skills are expected.
