Responsibilities
- Develop applications that comply with functional and non-functional requirements.
- Create unit tests and maintain system documentation.
- Contribute to new implementations, enhancements, reusable components, and application maintenance.
- Support ETL, data integration, data quality, reconciliation, monitoring, and database development activities.
- Provide production support and help resolve application issues and client expectations on time.
- Review technical designs and specifications with subject matter experts.
- Follow software development standards and participate in continuous improvement, integration, delivery, and agile activities.
- Deploy scalable, resilient solutions in containerized environments that integrate with legacy systems and microservice architectures.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on application development experience.
- Hands-on ETL development and data integration experience, preferably with Informatica.
- Strong SQL and database development skills, preferably with Oracle or Snowflake.
- Experience with Unix shell scripting, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data pipelines.
- Knowledge of data quality, reconciliation, and monitoring frameworks.
- Familiarity with Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Angular, Java, Spring, microservices, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with software development tools including Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira.
- Experience with OpenShift and AWS is a plus.
- Experience deploying scalable solutions in Kubernetes or Docker containers and working with legacy and microservice architectures.
- Strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, creativity, and commitment to continuous improvement.
