Responsibilities
- Perform software build integration and verification.
- Operate JTAG and other debugging tools and conduct validation and debugging on physical hardware.
- Coordinate integration and release processes with cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot runtime and build problems and report findings.
- Ensure software builds run properly through automation.
- Manage source-control systems, software versioning, branching strategies, and integrations across projects and repositories.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of software engineering or related experience; or a master’s degree with 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in real-time embedded software development and system software integration for bachelor’s or master’s degree holders.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Strong C programming, debugging, scripting, and operating-system knowledge.
- Experience with multithreading and multitasking.
- Experience with configuration management and release management.
- Experience with Git, P4, or ClearCase and bug-tracking or project-management tools such as JIRA.
- Ability to troubleshoot runtime and build problems and coordinate build plans with cross-functional teams.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
