Base Salary
$87k - $144k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own design direction and safeguard quality, security, and performance across applications, services, and data pipelines.
- Design, build, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications, React user interfaces, and Python data-processing and delivery pipelines.
- Complete complex feature development and bug fixes while leading code reviews and upholding coding best practices.
- Drive backlog refinement, technical estimation, and sprint and release readiness in an Agile environment.
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for cross-team dependencies, integrations, and risk resolution.
- Champion AI-accelerated software development practices and mentor peers in the effective and responsible use of approved AI tools.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated ownership of technical direction and delivery guidance on a cross-functional team.
- Proven full-stack delivery experience with Java and a modern JavaScript framework, plus Python experience building data-processing or data-delivery pipelines.
- Advanced Java/J2EE and Spring Boot proficiency for RESTful microservices.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React for component-based front ends.
- Proficiency in Python for data transformation, delta and batch file generation, validation, and automated client data delivery.
- Working knowledge of workflow orchestration and scheduled batch processing such as Airflow, distributed or large-scale data-processing frameworks, relational and NoSQL data stores, and search/indexing technologies.
- Experience with Azure, AKS, App Services, Cosmos, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong command of CI/CD using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps, Git branching strategy, and test-driven development.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot in VS Code and IntelliJ, prompt engineering, AI-assisted code review, test generation, and refactoring.
- Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows.
Benefits
- U.S. National Base Pay Range: $86,600 - $144,400, with geographic differentials potentially applying; New Jersey base pay range is $102,333 - $163,467.
