Base Salary
$165k - $231k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications for Manufacturing Engineers.
- Modernize existing applications through hardening, cleanup, and technical-debt reduction.
- Build AI- and LLM-powered features that process manufacturing and work-order data with human-in-the-loop safeguards.
- Deploy and operate services on AWS and Kubernetes, including monitoring and day-to-day reliability.
- Work directly with Manufacturing Engineers to understand workflows and translate them into usable software.
- Use data to evaluate product impact and guide future development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of software engineering experience with ownership of production software.
- Strong frontend engineering skills with React, TypeScript, component libraries, and state management.
- Backend and API development experience in Python or a comparable language, including REST or GraphQL and structured and unstructured databases.
- Experience integrating LLMs into products and using LLMs as a development tool.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on AWS and containerized infrastructure such as Kubernetes.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills, including working with nontechnical users.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with BlueKit, Redash, manufacturing or aerospace software, internal tools, MES, work-order or work-instruction systems, PLM, LLM/RAG pipelines, agentic AI workflows, Neo4j, or Amazon Neptune.
