Responsibilities
- Develop evaluation, automation, and testing methodologies for Siri AI/ML technologies and customer-facing features.
- Design and implement testing solutions, automation, quality measures, and testing frameworks.
- Build and maintain end-to-end test automation frameworks and manage automated test execution at scale.
- Write clean, maintainable production code with documentation and tests.
- Investigate and debug technical and UX problems, identify root causes, and improve reliability and performance.
- Contribute to architecture decisions, design reviews, peer code reviews, and post-mortem discussions.
- Use data insights, research findings, and user success metrics to improve product quality.
- Collaborate with product and cross-functional teams before and after feature launches, triage issues, coordinate bug fixes, and update stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with strong coding skills.
- At least 5 years of industry experience in software development or test engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership in quality strategy and automation.
- Expertise designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end test automation frameworks as an SDET or SDE.
- Experience with Swift, Objective-C, Python, or Java.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including TeamCity, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and GitHub.
- Ability to independently and collaboratively triage, investigate, and debug difficult technical and UX problems.
- Experience managing automated test execution at scale with reliable, timely, and actionable reporting.
- Knowledge of statistics-based evaluation methodologies or user success metrics.
- Understanding of generative AI and experience using generative AI tools.
- Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder-influencing, strategic-thinking, and problem-solving skills in distributed environments.
- Preferred: master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with strong coding skills and 7+ years of industry experience.
