Responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle development of privacy-focused telecommunications and deployment infrastructure
- Build, integrate, and maintain instrumentation, monitoring infrastructure, and reliability tooling
- Proactively identify and resolve issues before they become incidents
- Build new telecommunications infrastructure or integrate existing telecommunications components
- Own the technical accreditation and compliance process end-to-end for FedRAMP
- Shape software engineering practices while balancing immediate business needs with long-term product vision and roadmap
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering or SRE experience
- Strong familiarity with AWS
- Fluency in Golang, Rust, Java, Kotlin, Python, or a similar programming language
- Experience building, deploying, and using monitoring infrastructure and tools
- Experience designing, building, and delivering highly available systems and infrastructure
- Passion for privacy and national security and interest in building software with real-world impact
- Familiarity with Azure and/or GCP in addition to AWS is a plus
- Familiarity with mobile telecommunications technologies such as IMS, 4G/5G mobile core network functions, and multimedia protocols is a plus
- Experience managing redundant, highly available multi-site deployments is a plus
- Experience organizing documentation for accreditation processes such as FedRAMP and ATOs is a plus
