Responsibilities
- Remediate SVA and DVA findings through code changes addressing insecure patterns, broken authentication, injection risks, and similar vulnerabilities.
- Build automated scripts for SCA dependency upgrades and container image vulnerability remediation.
- Fix CloudFormation issues identified by Wiz IaC Scan.
- Build regression-testing harnesses to verify that remediation does not break functionality.
- Partner with the Automation Engineer to productionize remediation fixes into pipelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 6+ years of experience, including 5+ years with Java/Spring Boot and Angular or ReactJS.
- Experience developing on AWS, including CloudFormation and containers.
- Experience with SAST/DAST-style remediation using SVA/DVA findings and dependency upgrades.
- Strong CI/CD and automated testing experience.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
