Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, data science, product, and design teams to develop the product vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Build and evolve scalable, user-centric solutions for the AI-driven contract management platform.
- Own multiple functional areas from development through production using a “you build it, you run it” approach.
- Contribute to system design, architecture, reliability, and scaling.
- Mentor teammates through knowledge sharing and support their growth.
- Participate in an iterative, collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 8+ years of experience with a web development framework such as Flask, Django, FastAPI, NestJS, Spring Boot, Ruby on Rails, or ASP.NET.
- 8+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or AWS DynamoDB.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
- Familiarity with modern distributed-system architecture and tradeoffs.
- Knowledge of software development best practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch.
- Exposure to Java and TypeScript is preferred.
- Success working in fast-paced, agile, cross-functional environments and strong communication skills.
Benefits
- Annualized base salary range of CAD $168,000–$252,000 for the primary and additional Canadian locations.
- Eligible roles may receive the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus and annual refresh stock grants.
- Flexible work model requiring at least 50% of each quarter in the office or in the field, with remote home-office flexibility.
