Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the front-office risk and P&L platform.
- Analyze requirements, design solutions, implement changes, and deliver high-quality software within timelines.
- Collaborate with global business and technical stakeholders on requirements, solution approaches, testing, and status updates.
- Propose and implement tactical and strategic solutions for business and technical problems.
- Perform unit testing and support SIT, UAT, and regression testing.
- Collaborate across global technology teams and functions on tactical and strategic programs.
- Provide L3 support for system and business problems.
- Follow organizational and team-level processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related technical or quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of experience working with Java 8 or above.
- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, GemFire, Redis, Solace, Kafka, Pulsar, JUnit, and mocking frameworks.
- Familiarity with Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Ansible.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, and a hands-on attitude.
- Desirable: at least 3 years of React JS experience.
- Desirable: knowledge of investment banking and capital markets, front-office risk and P&L platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, Ingress Controller, AWS, and ActivePivot.
