Base Salary
$100k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define, design, develop, and implement custom software and AI solutions using the Appian platform
- Work across the full project lifecycle to understand client processes and technical needs
- Launch relational data models in production and develop APIs integrating with multiple systems
- Brainstorm AI use cases and implement RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative AI models
- Collaborate with client technical teams and business users throughout the software development lifecycle
- Drive adoption by enabling clients to become self-sufficient in building process applications
- Mentor and develop others and lead small teams through post-sale software implementations
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience
- B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field
- Experience leading small teams through post-sale software implementations and mentoring or developing others
- Ability to define business processes and gather functional and technical system requirements with clients
- Basic object-oriented programming knowledge and experience with relational databases, database design, data modeling, and SQL
- Knowledge of software testing practices, automated test suites, continuous integration, REST and SOAP APIs, JDBC connections, and web services
- Experience collaborating on cross-functional teams and working with agile development practices
- Familiarity with AWS, artificial intelligence, analytics, machine learning, Google Cloud, application integration, databases, developer tools, management and governance, and elastic containers is preferred
- Willingness to travel 20% or less annually
