Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and operate scalable frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Develop reusable, responsive UI components and optimize application performance, accessibility, and latency.
- Manage frontend state and data-fetching patterns using tools such as React Query and Redux.
- Integrate applications with REST and GraphQL APIs with robust error handling and data consistency.
- Own frontend reliability through monitoring, alerting, incident response, distributed tracing, and log analysis.
- Drive CI/CD, automated testing, code review, progressive rollouts, architectural decisions, RFCs, and technical design reviews.
- Collaborate with Product, Mobile, QE, Data, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and workflows for code generation, refactoring, debugging, testing, code review, and performance analysis.
- Mentor team members and help advance frontend engineering practices within the organization.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating production frontend applications at scale.
- Strong proficiency in React and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of modern CSS, including CSS Modules, Tailwind, or CSS-in-JS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress or Playwright.
- Strong knowledge of Web APIs, browser internals, and frontend performance optimization.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Vite, Webpack, AWS and/or Azure, and Kubernetes including EKS.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar AI-assisted development tools.
- Experience making repositories agent-ready with clear documentation, AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md files, structured conventions, and reproducible local setups.
- Experience using AI agents for end-to-end engineering tasks and integrating AI into frontend workflows.
- Understanding of prompt engineering, evaluation of AI-generated outputs, and reliable, reproducible, accessible AI-driven development.
- Experience with Vue 2 or Vue 3 and familiarity with design systems and Figma are preferred.
