Responsibilities
- Analyze existing software solutions, architectures, interfaces, data flows, and dependencies.
- Develop target architectures and technical solutions for Swissbit tools, management platforms, and web, backend, and frontend components.
- Define system boundaries, components, APIs, interfaces, and data models.
- Translate business, technical, and regulatory requirements into maintainable software concepts.
- Document and communicate architecture decisions in a traceable manner.
- Evaluate technical options, risks, assumptions, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Support development teams with implementation, prototyping, and technical validation, considering maintainability, testability, security, and lifecycle concerns.
Requirements
- Degree-level study in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of software development experience and experience with web, backend, or frontend architectures.
- Strong understanding of modular and distributed software systems, APIs, data flows, and system integration.
- Ability to analyze complex technical relationships and translate them into pragmatic solutions.
- Broad architectural understanding combined with technical depth and practical validation through prototypes or personal implementation.
- Experience with REST APIs, OpenAPI, modern web technologies, and languages such as Java, Kotlin, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ideally, knowledge of databases, messaging, event-driven architectures, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD.
