Base Salary
$179k - $269k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement scalable software solutions for a large-scale robotics and autonomous driving project.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate and optimize algorithms and machine learning models.
- Profile software and implement efficiency improvements from PyTorch to C++.
- Develop infrastructure and tools to evaluate and optimize AI performance.
- Optimize vehicle compute resources, including foundation libraries and accelerator scheduling.
- Drive projects end-to-end and deliver reliable software through code reviews, continuous integration, and automated testing.
- Maintain a strong safety culture while working with cross-functional stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience; alternatively, a master’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or a PhD.
- Expertise in GPU/DSP architecture and heterogeneous embedded computing.
- Fluency in Python, PyTorch, ONNX, NumPy, pandas, and modern C++.
- Knowledge of data structure optimization, parallel programming, and AI deployment flows on embedded platforms.
- Industry experience writing production-quality, performance-critical code and maintaining large codebases.
- Strong analytical, written communication, verbal communication, learning, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: master’s or PhD in Robotics, ECE, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with model deployment, profiling and evaluation flows, deep learning model compression, quantization, pruning, kernel fusion, distillation, SIMD code, and perception or autonomous-vehicle software stacks.
