Responsibilities
- Execute software bring-up on customer hardware platforms, including NVIDIA Drive and Qualcomm Ride.
- Port and configure Linux-based systems, QNX, and Adaptive AUTOSAR environments.
- Integrate and validate drivers, middleware, and boot-time configurations.
- Integrate hardware into CI/CD, HIL, and test infrastructure with Verification and Release teams.
- Resolve hardware-specific integration issues with OEM and Tier 1 teams.
- Implement system-level diagnostics, logging, and secure boot configuration.
- Develop automation for setup, flashing, health checks, and test execution on target hardware.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded or automotive software development, ideally including hands-on platform bring-up.
- Strong proficiency in C++, Bash, and Python.
- Experience modifying middleware such as OpenDDS and communication protocols using gRPC or similar technologies.
- Deep understanding of Linux-based embedded systems, including Yocto, systemd, bootloaders, and device trees.
- Familiarity with configuring and debugging QNX and Adaptive AUTOSAR on target hardware.
- Experience bringing up automotive-grade SoCs such as NVIDIA Orin, Qualcomm SA8295/SA8650, Renesas, and TI platforms.
- Experience with hardware debuggers, flashing tools, serial consoles, and board support packages.
- Familiarity with CAN, Ethernet, PCIe, SPI, and I2C communication protocols.
- Hands-on experience integrating embedded platforms into CI/CD pipelines and test automation frameworks.
- Preferred: exposure to HIL systems, Vector toolchains, and custom CI rigs.
- Preferred: experience in safety-critical domains, including ISO 26262, boot-time determinism, and watchdogs.
- Preferred: understanding of secure boot, OTA updates, and system-level cybersecurity.
- Preferred: familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, Git, and JFrog Artifactory.
