Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Architect and build production-grade generative AI and agentic AI applications using existing LLMs through API integration, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Design and lead development of agentic systems supporting multi-step reasoning, task decomposition, and tool use for complex business workflows.
- Contribute to a reusable and scalable AI platform with shared tooling, agent frameworks, and infrastructure.
- Build web application AI solutions using React or Streamlit.
- Set technical direction and best practices for generative AI and agentic solution design, including evaluation methodology, guardrails, and reliability.
- Iterate on models and LLM-powered tools using performance metrics, cost data, and user feedback.
- Lead design and code reviews and mentor junior engineers.
- Partner with business, engineering, and governance stakeholders to deliver production AI solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field.
- 4–8+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering, including hands-on production system delivery.
- Demonstrated experience designing, building, and shipping agentic AI systems involving multi-step reasoning, task decomposition, and tool use.
- Experience architecting LLM-powered systems around rate limits, quota management, retries, backoff, and cost-per-call constraints.
- Deep understanding of prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, fine-tuning, and generative output evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python and machine learning or AI libraries such as Scikit-learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Hands-on experience designing and orchestrating agentic workflows, including tool or function calling.
- Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Experience with cloud-based environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
