Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize software solutions and applications.
- Apply software engineering practices and scientific methods to research, design, development, and maintenance problems.
- Supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
- Operate independently in highly complex environments and take responsibility for a substantial aspect of the organization’s activities.
- Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders while balancing business, technical, and people objectives.
- Contribute significantly to the recruitment and development of people.
- Develop long-term partnerships with clients and apply commercial and negotiating principles in complex situations.
Requirements
- Demonstrated extensive software engineering experience and expertise across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Ability to work independently in highly complex environments and exercise original thought and judgment.
- Ability to lead and supervise software engineers and manage difficult situations calmly and professionally.
- Ability to balance business, technical, and people objectives.
- Understanding of commercial and negotiating principles and commitment to client partnerships.
