Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable full stack applications that deliver automated insights and responsive experiences for card and payment users.
- Develop backend services, data-pipeline orchestration, secure interfaces, and integrations with card and payment gateways.
- Build accessible frontend interfaces that visualize insights and enable users to act on data-driven recommendations.
- Optimize queries, services, application performance, and client-side interactions for low-latency insight delivery.
- Collaborate with data science teams to productionize AI and machine learning models in full stack solutions.
- Create reusable components and shared libraries for automated insight capabilities across products and business lines.
- Apply secure coding practices and payment-data compliance controls to protect sensitive information.
- Develop automated tests and continuous integration workflows for AI pipelines and full stack functionality.
- Monitor production environments, address incidents, document technical decisions and runbooks, and maintain service availability.
- Mentor colleagues and align feature priorities with customer trust, financial inclusion, and responsible AI goals.
Requirements
- Eight to twelve years of full stack engineering experience building secure and scalable web applications.
- Hands-on experience implementing AI or machine learning-based automated insight solutions in production systems.
- Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks, backend technologies, and relational or nonrelational databases.
- Familiarity with card and payment concepts including transaction flows, authorization processes, and risk controls.
- Working knowledge of secure coding standards, data privacy requirements, and financial technology regulations.
- Experience with continuous integration tools, automated testing frameworks, and version control.
- Effective communication with product, design, data, and other cross-functional partners.
- Ability to adapt to evolving AI tools and frameworks through structured learning and experimentation.
- Recommended certifications include a cloud associate-level credential and an AI or machine learning engineering certification.
