Base Salary
$102k - $135k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement serverless integration solutions using AWS AppFlow, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations for enterprise applications and third-party SaaS platforms.
- Define integration patterns and data flows with AWS Integration Architects and implement secure, scalable, cost-efficient solutions.
- Conduct unit, integration, and end-to-end testing; troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Monitor and log API transactions using AWS CloudWatch, X-Ray, and other observability tools.
- Document integration designs, API specifications, and implementation details while collaborating with development, DevOps, and business teams.
- Share best practices and provide technical guidance to junior engineers when needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud development and integration engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js for developing AWS Lambda functions and APIs.
- Strong expertise with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth, JWT, and API security best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills focused on integration performance optimization.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS certification, enterprise SaaS integration experience with platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, or ServiceNow, knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging patterns, understanding of data transformation and ETL pipelines, AWS Glue experience, distributed-team experience, and strong communication skills.
