Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into modular software solutions and implement high-quality, maintainable code.
- Design and document functional and technical specifications for mid-to-large components and participate in code and design reviews.
- Integrate enterprise applications and services using APIs and middleware, troubleshoot interoperability issues, and optimize connected systems.
- Develop and deploy software in Azure environments, configure deployment scripts, troubleshoot build-release issues, and support infrastructure-as-code and cloud performance tuning.
- Design and execute unit, integration, and automated tests; resolve failures and contribute to test automation frameworks.
- Support architecture translation into low-level designs and maintain design artifacts under architect and staff engineer guidance.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, QA, DevOps, engineering teams, and business stakeholders.
- Lead technical discussions, mentor junior engineers, contribute to planning and estimation, and improve team processes, standards, and tooling.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of software engineering experience building production-grade systems.
- Proficiency in Python, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, Nginx, and RBAC.
- Strong understanding of data structures, design patterns, system integration techniques, performance optimization, and system design.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Docker containers, and AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Ability to design, test, debug, and take end-to-end ownership of complex software systems.
- Experience in agentic development.
- Strong communication, documentation, collaboration, prioritization, and independent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and manage competing priorities.
