Responsibilities
- Design and build complex Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and process automation.
- Develop scalable integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, External Objects, file ingestion, and legacy adapters.
- Design data models and architectures supporting scalability, regulatory compliance, and long-term platform health.
- Implement asynchronous processing, parallel callout orchestration, retry logic, partial-failure handling, and optimized bulkified queries within Salesforce governor limits.
- Build custom LWC component libraries, metadata-driven layouts, configurable UI frameworks, and integrations with third-party JavaScript libraries.
- Perform root-cause analysis and debugging across Apex, LWC, and integration layers.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, Agile ceremonies, and technical decision-making across a distributed global engineering team.
- Communicate technical approaches, dependencies, trade-offs, and delivery timelines across multiple time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Advanced experience with Apex, triggers, batch processing, Queueable chains, future methods, Platform Events, governor limits, and scalable asynchronous processing.
- Strong LWC experience including component composition, custom event architecture, imperative Apex, dynamic rendering, and cross-component state management.
- Experience working in large, heavily customized Salesforce organizations with configuration-driven frameworks, custom component libraries, and metadata-driven layouts.
- Experience designing REST and SOAP integrations, Named Credentials, file ingestion, legacy adapters, retry logic, and contract-first interfaces.
- Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills, including the ability to accurately implement custom designs in Lightning.
- Experience with complex Salesforce data models, parent-child hierarchies, Custom Metadata, JSON serialization, and high-volume SOQL optimization.
- Experience with Git workflows, IDEs, Salesforce CLI, SOLID principles, testing, and distributed Agile engineering teams.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II and Salesforce Certified JavaScript Developer I certifications.
- Preferred: Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect certification, TypeScript knowledge, test automation experience, AWS familiarity, and financial services experience.
