Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, secure software solutions for financial and enterprise applications.
- Build Java and Spring Boot microservices, RESTful APIs, service integrations, workflow orchestration, and event-driven processing.
- Develop and integrate frontend applications using React or Angular and modern web technologies.
- Build, test, and support enterprise blockchain solutions, including smart contracts, blockchain-enabled workflows, and on-chain/off-chain integrations.
- Develop solutions using Hyperledger Besu or other enterprise blockchain and distributed ledger platforms.
- Implement automated testing, secure coding, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native deployments, observability, resilience, and production support.
- Lead technical design discussions, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and advise business and senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, security, DevOps, and other engineering teams in regulated banking environments.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Java JDK 17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, scalable backend systems, RESTful APIs, microservices, and service-to-service integrations.
- Strong experience designing long-running business processes, stateful workflows, workflow orchestration, and automation frameworks.
- Experience with Apache Kafka, asynchronous processing, Apache Camel or an equivalent enterprise integration framework, and distributed integration patterns.
- Full-stack development experience with React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and Jest or Jasmine.
- Experience with Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, NoSQL databases, data integrity, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, authentication, authorization, encryption, secure coding, and blockchain security or auditing concepts.
- Experience with AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, Maven, Gradle, Git, automated testing, and secure deployments.
- Understanding of distributed systems, fault tolerance, high availability, resiliency, observability, performance optimization, and production support.
- Experience with Hyperledger Besu, Ethereum or EVM-based blockchain platforms, smart contract development, enterprise DLT deployments, consensus mechanisms, node operations, and transaction lifecycles.
- Experience integrating blockchain networks with enterprise applications through APIs, events, messaging, middleware, and on-chain/off-chain architectures.
- Experience with JUnit, Mockito, integration testing, contract testing, design patterns, object-oriented principles, and enterprise architecture.
- Experience leading technical discussions, conducting code reviews, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with product, architecture, QA, security, and DevOps teams.
- Experience working in regulated environments with compliance, audit, governance, risk, and control requirements.
- Banking domain knowledge in areas such as payments and transfers, treasury, settlement, reconciliation, regulatory controls, digital assets, tokenization, custody, or enterprise DLT platforms.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, large-scale delivery models, AI-assisted software development, unit test generation, code review automation, MCP, or AI-enabled SDLC practices.
