Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and continuously improve production-grade AI agents.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and ongoing iteration.
- Partner directly with enterprise and startup customers to understand business challenges and build scalable solutions.
- Develop multimodal experiences, booking workflows, recommendation systems, payment flows, reservations integrations, and agent platform capabilities.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- Builder’s mindset, high agency, and ability to ship creative solutions.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Genuine interest in the travel industry and improving guest experiences.
- Preferred qualifications include professional fluency in Spanish and English, production AI/LLM experience, founder or founding-engineer experience, familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering, and experience with React, TypeScript, or Go.
- Previous customer-facing work or leadership of technical projects with external stakeholders is preferred.
