Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production environments.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment, tuning, and continuous iteration.
- Work directly with enterprise and startup customers to understand business challenges and build solutions at scale.
- Develop agent systems for personalization, experimentation, conversational discovery, telecommunications troubleshooting, and voice experiences.
- Surface customer needs, prototype tools and features, and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s core platform.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- Builder’s and tinkerer’s mindset with high agency and the ability to ship creative solutions.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Interest in the technology, media, and telecommunications industries.
- Preferred experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
- Preferred experience as a founder or founding engineer.
- Preferred familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
- React, TypeScript, and/or Go experience is preferred.
- Previous customer-facing experience or experience leading technical projects with external stakeholders is preferred.
