Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production use.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilots through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Build AI agents and frameworks for insurance, financial-services, and other enterprise use cases.
- Work directly with enterprise and startup customers to understand challenges and deliver scalable solutions.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s AI-agent platform.
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them into enterprise-grade customer solutions.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder’s mindset, high agency, and ability to ship creative solutions.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Genuine interest in financial services and customer experience.
- Experience in insurance technology, financial-institution implementations, work inside financial institutions, or familiarity with financial-services security and compliance is a strong plus.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production is preferred.
- Experience as a founder or founding engineer is preferred.
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering is preferred.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred.
- Previous customer-facing or external technical-project leadership experience is preferred.
