Base Salary
$180k - $390k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, tune, and continuously improve production-grade AI agents.
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from initial pilot through deployment and iteration.
- Partner directly with large enterprises and startups to understand business challenges and implement AI agents.
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s AI agent platform.
- Develop industry-specific agent frameworks, self-service capabilities, new agent architectures, and generative agent experiences.
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments.
- A builder’s mindset, high agency, and ability to overcome obstacles and ship solutions.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Genuine interest in financial services and customer experience; financial technology, financial institution implementation, institutional experience, or familiarity with financial services security and compliance is a strong plus.
- Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production is preferred.
- Founder or founding-engineer experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering is preferred.
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred.
- Previous customer-facing or external technical project leadership experience is preferred.
