Base Salary
$145k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create practical, scalable, secure, and resilient architectures and designs for development teams to implement.
- Collaborate with senior leaders, product managers, architects, subject matter experts, and internal and partner development teams.
- Implement cloud-native solutions for scalable, resilient, and secure business and technology products.
- Perform proof-of-concepts, systems analysis, data analysis, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
- Apply systems thinking to understand the pharmacy and health ecosystem and the data generated across interconnected processes.
- Evaluate tools and solutions, assess usability, and develop accessible and understandable data visualizations.
- Analyze data lineage and create data-flow diagrams and UML diagrams using Lucidchart or similar tools.
- Provide architecture and design solutions and stay current with cloud, web, AI/ML, and framework technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Applications, or a related field.
- 10+ years of design experience with current Java versions, J2EE, Spring Boot, web services, SOAP, and REST.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building microservices with REST and SOAP/XML.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with NoSQL and relational database technologies, including DML, DDL, and query optimization.
- Experience with Kafka, Event Hub, messaging frameworks, NoSQL databases, AKS, Java 8 or 11, Spring WebFlux, and reactive programming.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, technical components, synchronous and asynchronous processing, performance, capacity planning, and distributed client/server systems.
- Preferred experience with containers, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, Redis or MemCache, and resilient active/active architectures.
- Significant software development lifecycle and software development methodology experience, including Agile and iterative approaches.
