Responsibilities
- Gather and evaluate user requirements with product owners and stakeholders across geographies.
- Design, code, test, implement, maintain, and support application software delivered on time and within budget.
- Build and enhance secure, stable, scalable, and business-critical Java full-stack systems.
- Develop agentic AI applications with prompt engineering, tool/function calling, orchestration, evaluation, and production monitoring.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating generated outputs.
- Collaborate with global technologists and teams requiring some overlap with US time zones.
- Work independently on requirements that may not be fully detailed.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Full-stack development experience focused on Java applications for medium- or large-scale projects.
- Experience with React, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- Experience with AWS and building or enhancing business-critical systems.
- Working proficiency with development toolsets and DevOps tools and processes.
- Experience with APIs and communication mechanisms such as Kafka and MQ.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine generated outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, and resiliency and security expectations.
- Experience building production LLM-based agentic AI applications, including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, orchestration frameworks, evaluation, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred.
- Experience with Angular is also acceptable.
